Key Qualifications and Criteria:

• Age not exceeding 35 years at the time of application.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAN or ICAI.
• Candidates with prior experience in Banks and Financial institutions (BFIs) shall be given priority.
• Candidate must have a good communication skill in writing and speaking (both Nepali and English)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Monitor and manage the bank’s security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, email security, and antivirus software.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, ensuring timely response and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, NRB, NIST) and internal security frameworks.
• Provide security awareness training for employees and management.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system architecture and configurations.
• Prepare detailed reports for management on security metrics and incidents.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in an information security role, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as PCI DSS.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in network and security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Proficient in SIEM, FIM, DLP, WAF, Email security, and expertise in analyzing various security events.
• Knowledge of cryptography and encryption standards.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.).

Certifications (Preferred): Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+
