| Himalayan Bank Limited became a trustee of the Digital Himalaya Project from February 2008 onwards. Digital Himalaya is a project to develop digital collection, storage and distribution strategies for anthropological information from the Himalayan region with specific focus on Nepal. The project was initiated in December 2000 and is jointly promoted by Cambridge University and Cornel University.
