In affiliation with SmartChoice Technologies P. Ltd,Kathmandu (a private network company) Himalayan Bank is issuing Proprietary Debit Card. SCT debit card is a local brand card and is valid mainly for domestic use.

Eligibility

  • Customer who operates/maintains an individual Savings or Current account with any branch of HBL can avail HBL debit card.

  • Easy to apply and get a card by operating an individual Savings or Current account with any HBL branch
  • It is linked to the cardholders account
  • Debit Cards are valid for 4 years
  • Supplementary card for spouse/children

  • No interest, late fee or any other penalties

  • Within Kathmandu valley: 3 working days
  • Outside the valley: 7-10 working days

Can I Use My Debit Card To Pay Online?

What Is The Validity Of Card?

The validity of chip based debit card is 4 years.

What Are The Procedures For Card Reported Lost/Stolen/Any Other Issues?

Currently I Am Residing Outside Nepal. Can I Apply For Debit Card? What Is The Procedure?

You can apply via Representative Officers deployed at various countries (if available). However, to collect the same, one has to visit the branch personally or may authorize second agent with valid ID to collect on card holder’s behalf. For further information, you may visit the concerned branch or Card Center, Kamaladi

Is The Card Transferable?

The card is strictly non transferable and can be used only by the card holder
